LIVE FROM THE SFJAZZ CENTER

The SFJAZZ High School All-Stars is a top-tier training program presented by SFJAZZ Education, and is comprised of two ensembles: the Big Band, led by Paul Contos, and the Combo, led by Dann Zinn. Participants are chosen by competitive audition each year from schools throughout the greater Bay Area, and take part in clinics, performances, recording sessions, festivals, and competitions.

This album was made possible in part by the generosity of Rafael Costas. Additional support for the All-Stars program provided by the Hut Foundation, the Willard L. Marmelzat Foundation, and the Silver Giving Foundation. All proceeds of the High School All-Stars’ albums go directly back into the All-Stars program to support youth jazz education.
